Tonight, the 2026-A EMT-Basic class had a very special guest as we enter the ‘Special Operations’ section of the curriculum as we draw near the end of the course.

Chief (ret.) Danny Snell, a highly decorated veteran of the Houston Fire Department. Chief Snell helped pioneer the Hazardous Materials team for the Houston Fire Department, climbing through the ranks and reaching the Executive Leadership level before retiring after a very impactful and rewarding career.

Chief Snell gave an excellent presentation tonight to the students, providing invaluable insight and information that will stay with the students throughout their career.

Thank you Chief Snell for your time and wisdom!
