I'm honored to share that I've been named to the Dean's List while pursuing my Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.

People often ask why I went back to school after years in Human Resources. The answer is simple: because the workplace is constantly evolving, and I believe my clients deserve a consultant who never stops learning.

Every course challenges me to think more strategically about leadership, organizational culture, employee engagement, change management, and ethical decision-making. Those lessons don't stay in the classroom—they become practical solutions I bring directly to the organizations I serve.

Whether I'm helping a nonprofit build its HR foundation, guiding a small business through growth, or supporting leaders as they navigate change, I'm committed to combining real-world experience with evidence-based practices.

This recognition is a reminder that growth requires commitment, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue learning while serving my clients.

Hiring without HR support is a recipe for disaster for small businesses. Don't leave your company vulnerable.

1. Are employee handbook essentials in place?
2. Is employee documentation, including payroll, in order?
3. Was the employee classified correctly?

Fix it with:
1. Written and signed policies that reflect your culture.
2. Compliant checklists for accountability.
3. Knowing what you need before hiring.

Entrepreneurship looks glamorous on social media... And I'm definitely glamorous in this picture, taken by my own kid (it been your own)..

I know this is the part of "solo"preneurship others don't post.
No team to delegate to.
No PTO requests.
No one to cover your projects.

Just You.. and the work..

There's this pressure that comes with building something on your own. If you don't show up, nothing moves...

But here's what I learned, the HARD WAY: building a business should not cost my health.. The ugly side of entrepreneurship isn't failure, it's over extension.

This is why I talk so much about structure, systems and support. Because sustainable businesses don't rely on one exhausted person.
