The heartbeat behind Grasshopper Group is Amanda August

Most of you do not know her. You see Grasshopper Group. You see eight locations and 200 teammates and a playbook and Camp Forward. You see a woman who built something most people thought could not be built. Some people even tried to bring down.

You do not see who she is when nobody is watching.

When the company almost closed, she did not run. Instead, she pushed FORWARD to find a way. When a teammate was going through it, she did not send a card. She showed up at their door. When we said we wanted work to be more than a job, she did not nod and forget. She built it.

She built the thing she said she would build.

At Camp Forward, we played her this video without telling her. She did not know we made it. She did not know she was about to watch every Location Founder & Leader and teammates say what she means to us. We watched her watch it.

That is not a moment we can give back to her. So we are giving it to all of you ❤️

Reflecting on 2025. Thinking back to The Forward Summit 2026. Already planning Forward Summit 2027!!

Seven Location Founders & Leaders took the leap. Over 200 teammates across six states ran the Forward Playbook for the first time. Big wins. Hard days. Real moments together.

Grasshopper Group has officially landed in Texas 🤠

The most important part of welcoming a new brand to Grasshopper Group is our first visit with the team. It sets the tone for everything that follows, where we show up human to human. No polish. No pretense. Just who we really are. A little silly. A little imperfect. Completely real.

We share our mission. We roll out our values. And then we ask for something meaningful. Trust 🔐

Because the best part of every trip is the moment teams hand over their vision boards. Not just ideas, but what they actually want their lives to look like.

Our mission is simple:
We create opportunities that change lives and lead people to make great decisions ❤️
