Accessibility is not only about meeting requirements. It is about designing spaces that are intuitive, independent, and comfortable to use.

Stern’s accessible automatic cubicle solutions combine clear occupancy indication with touchless sliding access, helping architects create washrooms that support both accessibility and a better user experience.

Stern’s SWAR: See. Refill. Done.

Your cleaning staff shouldn’t have to guess when soap needs to be refilled.
With a conventional dispenser installed inside a cabinet, it is not always easy to know when the soap reservoir is running low. In many cases, the problem is only discovered once the dispenser is already empty.

That is why Stern’s SWAR touchless cabinet is now available with an optional innovative soap refill projector, designed to make maintenance simpler and more efficient.

When the soap level is low, the system projects a clear soap icon onto the washbasin surface — or even onto the hand of the cleaning staff — immediately indicating that a refill is required.

This simple visual indication helps maintenance teams act at the right time, without unnecessary checking or opening of the cabinet.

The benefits are clear:
𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆
𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗽 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀
𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

With Stern’s SWAR touchless sanitary cabinet, smart technology works quietly in the background to make washroom maintenance easier, faster, and more reliable.

Stern Adds Functionality to Extreme CS — Without Changing Its Minimalist Appearance

The Extreme CS touchless wall-mounted faucet in AISI 316 stainless steel material is now available together with a mixer, allowing the water temperature to be adjusted according to the needs of the project.

The added functionality remains discreetly integrated, preserving the clean, minimalist appearance visible to the user.

Shown here at the Edifici d’Oficines Catalana Occident in Barcelona, where Extreme CS becomes part of the architectural language of the washroom.

More functionality behind the wall. The same clean design in front.

Find us at Booth #2605 at BDNY, Jacob K. Javits Center, New York.

We are excited to present the SWAR line of mirrored wash stations, our sensor faucets, soap dispensers and hand dryers, and the Touchless WC Cubicles system, along with the continuous washbasins, shower panels and flush valves that complete the range. Everything on the booth is built around the same idea, which is a washroom a guest can use from start to finish without touching a surface, specified to suit the design rather than sitting apart from it.

Our team will be there throughout the show to talk through specification, water reduction and how touch-free fixtures change the maintenance picture once a property is open. If you are working on a project and want to bring drawings, please do.

In fitness environments, hygiene should be designed into every interaction.

The Stern Tubular Trio combines a wall-mounted touchless soap dispenser, faucet and high-speed hand dryer, creating a seamless handwashing experience without the need to touch the products. Soap. Water. Air. All touchless. Its clean, coordinated design gives architects a consistent solution for contemporary gym and wellness environments, while helping reduce unnecessary contact in high-traffic washrooms.

Because the products are touchless, there is also less direct contact with surfaces, helping them stay cleaner for longer and reducing the cleaning effort required by maintenance staff. And the touchless experience does not need to stop at the washbasin. Tubular Trio can be part of a complete Stern concept incorporating touchless cubicles, flush valves and showers — creating a more hygienic and intuitive washroom experience from entrance to exit.

A faucet is a small detail — until it becomes part of the architectural language of a prestigious building.

For The Frame, 74–75 Lower Baggot Street in Dublin, Csaba, our touchless faucet was specified by Reddy Architecture + Urbanism in PVD Antique Bronze.

The finish brings warmth and refinement to the washroom, while complementing the surrounding materials and becoming part of the overall design language.

We’re always pleased to see how the right finish can transform a functional product into an integral part of the architectural vision.
