Did you know it Thursday:
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights but Noah was on that boat for 371 days. 40 days the storm raged, but something incredible happened. Genesis 8:1, God remembered Noah. Even though the storm was over, God still needed to blow the winds, and close up the Heavens.
Imagine the storm, the Ark slamming on the waves.
Imagine it ending, the wind blowing, still no dry land in sight.
Think of Noah staring out the single window on that Ark, the weight of the literal Earth on his shoulders. All he could do was wait and wonder when they would step onto dry land again.
Maybe you are in the storm right now. Maybe the storm is over, the rainbow never came, and you are left wondering when. Maybe you are in the waiting. The promise isn't ready yet. Just like the Earth needed to dry and plants needed to regrow, your life is rebuilding in places you can't see yet. Don't give up on the rainbow yet, God is still creating your Promised Land.
In the meantime remember, if the sky's up, it's always a good day.
