Happy Friday everyone! Here is a list of Items that can be recycled (items cannot be in garbage bags)-
-Newspaper, ads and inserts, direct mail, magazines, and catalogues
-Office paper and kraft paper, including paper bags
-Flattened cardboard and packaging boxes (cut down to 3feet pieces or smaller) including empty and clean pizza boxes
-Non-metallic gift wrap
-Paperback books
-Paperboard/cardboard egg cartons
-Aseptic containers (such as milk cartons or shelf stable soymilk containers)
-Plastic bottles and jugs, round containers, buckets, and rigid plant pots (Caps OK if screwed on)
-Steel and aluminum cans
-Metal (up to 10pounds and 18inches long)
-Glass (please put in glass container and keep separated from other recycling)
-Used motor oil (Store in an unbreakable container with a screw top. Put beside recycling container)
*Items that can’t be recycled (please put into garbage)
-Fridge or freezer boxes (such as from frozen meals)
-Take out containers/boxes and single use cups/disposable coffee -cups and lids
-Shredded paper
-Aerosol cans
-Foil
-Plastic bags
-Hoses, cords, or wires
-styrofoam
*I would like to note, you can put food scraps in your yard debris cans. 😊
