Not afraid of dirt? Good. We’re looking for someone who can run equipment and grab a shovel when needed.

What you’ll do:
• Shoveling, raking, site clean-up
• Help load/haul small equipment
• Run skid steer / mini ex (some experience appreciated)

What you need:
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to drive manual pick-up
• Strong work ethic

💰 $20/hr+ DOE
🗓 4-day work week (3-day weekends)

2025 was a year that really put us to the test.

Between the ups and downs of Joe’s cancer journey and not knowing if the business would still be standing by year’s end, there were times it felt like the ground was shifting under our feet. We had to dig deep, move a lot of emotional dirt, and trust the process even when the plans kept changing.

There were moments we weren’t sure if we’d be laying down the bucket or finding a way to keep digging. Thanks to the incredible support around us, we kept the tracks moving forward.

To every customer who stuck with us, trusted us with their projects, and believed in us during a tough season, thank you. You helped us move mountains (and a whole lot of dirt), and we’re beyond grateful that you chose us to break ground with you in 2025.

As we level out 2025 and set our sights on 2026, we’re proud of what we weathered and thankful for everyone who helped keep us upright when things got rocky.

Here’s to solid ground, smoother grades, and a successful 2026. Let’s keep digging.

Sometimes the dirt settles just right. We’re thrilled to announce that we aren’t hanging up the bucket after all we’ll be staying in business! Grateful for the opportunity that came our way and excited to keep digging, moving earth, and making things happen!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the decision to dig our final foundation and haul our final load. Due to Joe's ongoing battle with cancer, we have made the difficult choice to step back from the excavation business, focusing on family and health during this time.

We founded Baker Five with a vision of quality, integrity, and hard work. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with so many wonderful clients and we are beyond grateful for all the support, trust, and relationships we've built.

To our loyal customers: Thank you for allowing us to be part of your projects and for your continued belief in us.

We’re taking these next few months to wrap up ongoing projects and prepare for the next chapter. While this marks the end of an era for Baker Five, the memories and friendships we’ve made will continue on.
