The holiday season is a wonderful time to bring joy and companionship to seniors, who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation, or physical or financial stress. Families and communities can make a real difference by prioritizing inclusion and making practical accommodations. To support our seniors, focus on simple, inclusive activities like watching movies, helping with decorations, or arranging comfortable outings like holiday light drives. Ensure their physical safety by addressing potential hazards, and use technology to keep them connected with loved ones who cannot be there in person.
