Have Dominion.

This is the final instruction God gave in Genesis 1:28, and perhaps the most misunderstood.

Dominion was never about controlling people. It was never about power for personal gain.

Biblical dominion is stewardship.

God entrusts us with our lives, our families, our gifts, our work, our finances, and our influence. He asks us to manage them faithfully so they can become a blessing to others.

Before we can lead others, we must first lead ourselves.

That means making wise decisions, remaining teachable, serving with humility, and honoring God in the way we live.

I’ve discovered that building a digital business isn’t just about learning new skills. It’s about becoming a better steward—of my time, my knowledge, my opportunities, and the people God brings into my life.

Faithfulness in small things often opens the door to greater responsibility.

God doesn’t simply call us to survive.

He calls us to flourish, to serve, to multiply what He has entrusted to us, and to leave a legacy that blesses future generations.

Lead with wisdom.
Serve with humility.
Steward with faithfulness.

That is what it truly means to have dominion.

“God blessed them and said… Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion…” — Genesis 1:28

Overlooked: Subdue🫛🌱

When I first read it, I thought it meant conquering the world. But over time I realized the first territory God asks us to subdue is often ourselves.

We all have something that tries to rule us—fear, procrastination, self-doubt, lack of knowledge, comfort, or even past disappointments. If those things remain in control, they quietly limit the future God has prepared for us.

Subduing doesn’t mean becoming harsh or aggressive. It means choosing discipline over excuses. It means deciding to learn something new instead of saying, “I’m not good at technology.” It means taking one small step even when you don’t feel ready.

That principle has changed my own life.

When I began my digital business, I didn’t have a business background or special digital skills. What I needed wasn’t more talent—it was the willingness to keep learning, follow a proven system, and refuse to let fear make my decisions.

God has given each of us gifts, opportunities, and potential. But potential only becomes reality when we steward it well.

Subdue your fears.
Subdue your excuses.
Subdue your comfort zone.

The harvest you’re praying for often begins with the choices you make today.

“God blessed them and said to them… be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…” — Genesis 1:28
