This project's been a long time in the making, especially if you take into account the more than two decades since the artist's work last saw a solo exhibition in New York City. Opening on May 16, this exclusive look into the art and life of the renowned Mexican painter will not only bring with it over a dozen of Kahlo's original paintings and illustrations, but transform our Conservatory with reimaginings of her garden and studio at Casa Azul in Mexico City.

Biodynamic farming first developed in the 1920’s by social activist Rudolf Steiner. Steiner’s approach focused on creating a balanced farm ecosystem that generates health and abundance as much as possible from within the farm itself. Biodynamic farming includes the use of fermented organic manure, herbs, and minerals to enhance nutrition, quality, and flavor of the food grown.
