Most people believe there are laws regarding driving a car, going into a store, or eating in a restaurant without shoes on. Many office jobs even try to enforce the notion that there are laws against open-toed shoes at work. No such laws exist in North America (and nearly all other countries). Going barefoot is not illegal (in any way), and is not unsanitary. Educated people know that close to 100

% of the diseases and post-birth deformities of feet are caused by wearing shoes. There are many health benefits - physical and mental - to discarding your shoes. If there are no laws against it, it is very healthy, and it costs NOTHING, why are those who choose to go barefoot hassled and publicly shamed? Why must we conform to archaic, profit-driven social "norms" for no reason other than others' prejudices? It is not a harbor for hate, judging, or trolls. Barefoot is Healthy

Here is an old ad from Chick-fil-A. Notice that the woman on the right is barefoot. That means that to Chick-fil-A a barefoot customer was so normal and so accepted that they put a barefoot customer in their ad.

How can we get back to this level of acceptance for barefoot customers?

👣 I had a lovely interaction with a mall clerk today. She was a gorgeous older lady. She told me it’s so cute I don’t wear shoes! It’s the first thing she noticed about me when I walked up to the counter. We had a nice conversation about my choice to live my life barefoot. 🥰

No, no one in the class is barefoot.
However, this is why we exist.
The longer we continue to just wear flip flops just in case someone might complain, the longer we have to fight for justice.
There are ZERO reasons to not accept someone's money just because their foot touches the ground.
However, 99.8% of people say nothing.
