Just a reminder, DO NOT let people into the pool! That is against the rules and you will be held responsible for those individuals and any damage they do. Unfortunately, we have already had one vandalism act. If you let in non residents, YOUR fob will be turned off.

If you are approached or harassed by people trying to gain access, call the police.
Non-resonant juveniles are jumping the fence and being let in by people that are already in the pool. The police were there today and everything is on video. We are trying to have a strong stand right away so that people who are paying the dues are able to enjoy a fun, peaceful, safe time at the pool!

It takes the whole community to make this happen. Thank you for doing your part!

Our all volunteer board will again hold a pick up on Saturday, June 1 from 11am-1pm.
Please make an effort to come at that time, as old FOBs DO NOT work!

To contest the excessive property Assessments call directly to make an appointment 614-525-3388.

I and my direct neighbors have had productive calls. Here are some things to mention about the area that they will want to know.

1) lack of local amenities. A min 10 minute drive to a supermarket. Technically this area is a “food desert” — just try to take public transportation to the nearest Kroger (WBroad) and imagine lugging your groceries
home while walking the final leg on Hague (no sidewalk, double yellow line, traffic wizzing by at 60+mph at times).

2) Cbus has been encouraging significant rental development over here (Whispering Creek) without any meaningful infrastructure (not even crosswalks, proper lighting, traffic calming) — and of course COTA doest serve Hague. (1.5 hours to OSU according to google). Hence all the walking of people along this 55mph road with no sidewalks.

3) Becasue this area is a patchwork of municipalities no one claims responsibility for it from an investment POV so there is no plan for improvement insight.

4) As McKinley Blvd is getting developed with the Quarry extension homeless encampments are moving to the creek at Redick Park. Again, no resources or infrastructure to help address issues.

5) If you live in CH1 you should also mention we do not have new roofs on our buildings.

These and other points specific to individual unit interiors make a compelling case for these excessive assessments.
