Clintonville runs on more than coffee. It runs on people who show up for each other. ☕

At Coffee with CABA, you can meet the business owner you’ve been meaning to introduce yourself to, hear what’s happening around the neighborhood, and put a face to a name you’ve seen online. No agenda to pitch, just coffee, light bites, and room for real conversations.

Join us at Tabletop Game Café on Tuesday, October 6 at 8:30 a.m.
📍 4316 N. High St., Columbus

Register on the website at www.clintonvilleba.com/calendar and come be part of the conversation.

Last week’s After Hours brought the Clintonville business community together Combustion Brewery & Taproom (Clintonville), hosted by Noosa Tax & Accounting . 🍻

We were joined by fellow CABA members, board members, the owner of Fitness Evolution and several familiar faces from Experience Clintonville —all making connections beyond their own organizations.

And did you spot our new CABA Member stickers? A big shoutout to B-Hive Branding for helping our members proudly show that they’re part of this community.

Membership opens the door, but showing up builds the relationships.

Are you active in your neighborhood chamber events?

Great conversations deserve a thoughtful place to gather—and Bleu & Fig is one of our favorite Clintonville venues for bringing people together.

With their beautiful space, creative catering, and genuine hospitality, they create the perfect setting for connection and conversation. We’re excited to gather around their tables for CABA’s upcoming Lunch & Learn.

Presented by Heartland Bank , Commercial Lender Michael Amerine and Financial Center Manager John David King will discuss small-business financing, including conventional and SBA loans, lines of credit, banking solutions, and what lenders look for when reviewing an application.

Whether you’re launching, planning for growth, or simply want to better understand your options, bring your questions and join us!

One Clintonville address. Three local businesses. So many stories worth knowing.

Our latest CABA Coffee Hour brought us together at 3620 North High Street, a place with neighborhood history and business owners who continue to write its next chapter.

Our three hosts gave us plenty to celebrate:

J. R. Scott Insurance Agency, an independent agency with a history dating back to 1945, built around personal service and lasting relationships. And yes, a real person still answers the phone!

ClintonvilleTherapeuticMassage , a trusted neighborhood space with skilled practitioners and easy scheduling that makes caring for yourself a little more convenient.

And the sweetest of the three, Colonial Candy . Hearing how this longtime neighborhood favorite adapted during COVID, reimagining its business model to reduce overhead and keep serving the community, was an inspiring reminder that sometimes moving forward means doing things differently.

Meeting the owners, hearing their stories, and connecting with the people behind these businesses is exactly what makes Coffee Hour special. And the chocolates from Colonial Candy? A pretty sweet bonus. 🍫

Thank you to our hosts and everyone who joined us. Take a moment to get to know these neighborhood businesses, explore their offerings, and send a little support their way. You’ll find their details in the member directory on our website.

We look forward to seeing you next month!
