Seasonal Security Advisory

As we move into the warmer months, I want to personally address our hotel and apartment community partners.
Each year, as temperatures rise, we consistently see an uptick in criminal activity across hospitality and multi-family residential properties throughout Central Ohio. Increased travel, higher resident and guest traffic, and extended evening activity create predictable risk exposure—particularly during late-night and early-morning hours.
This is not unexpected. It is seasonal. And we plan for it.
I am currently working directly with our Vice President of Operations, Gerrald Swint, to review recent activity trends across our portfolio of hotel and apartment assignments. Together, we are meeting with our upper management team and field supervisors to evaluate patrol visibility, coverage schedules, incident response standards, and property-specific vulnerabilities.
We are taking a proactive approach — not a reactive one.
Over the coming weeks, Gerrald and I will be reaching out to each of our hotel and apartment clients to schedule direct conversations. Our objective is simple:
Review any recent concerns specific to your property
Evaluate current coverage and vulnerable timeframes
Discuss strategic adjustments if necessary
Ensure your security plan reflects current seasonal conditions
