Ashwin’s passion for exploration is driven by an intense curiosity about the world and his desire to share the world with others. Having been fortunate enough to have traveled through five continents by the age of 22, Ashwin knew he had a unique opportunity to showcase extraordinary and seldom traveled parts of the world. After school, where he studied mathematics and economics, Ashwin’s serious h

obby became a full time passion- a passion that has driven Ashwin to over 25 countries on 6 continents and has afforded him a portfolio of diverse, unique, and absorbing images encompassing countless cultures and geographic regions. He has traveled from the stoic churches of Europe to the isolated jungles of Burma. He has swum with sharks in Thailand and faced down a charging bull elephant in the Malaysian jungle. Ashwin sees photography as the perfect blend of science, art, and adventure, and fancies himself an equal mix of Indiana Jones and Macgyver. When he is not traveling, Ashwin devotes his time to commissioned and independent projects.
