If you ask for "like" or "shares" as part of your Facebook engagement strategy, you'll want to stop doing that now. It's not just individual posts that will be penalized but the reach on all of your page posts will be reduced. Earning that back is possible but it will take time.

A lot of crap gets shared on Facebook, but coming soon the volume may be a little less after Facebook made a move to penalize content that shamelessly begs..
