DID YOU KNOW?

The Bayfront Seawall, one of Corpus Christi's top tourist attractions, was constructed in 1928 by sculptor Gutson Borglum, who later became famous for sculpting another iconic US Sculpture. Who knows what sculpture that is? The seawall runs about 1.5 miles and sits right out front of our hotel. It runs North to the Ship Channel and South to McGee Beach. Something new we are doing this year is hosting various speakers throughout the week that discuss topics that may be of interest to our guests. Come grab a drink and enjoy the cool air and hear from our speakers. We are calling it the SS talks (SS for speaker series) We have topics form kayaking the Mississippi, the USS Albacore, Henry Breault and RC Submarines, yes they are a thing. Come listen to Bob Martin with the The Nautilus Drydocks discuss the hobby and maybe even catch a demo. His talk will be Tuesday afternoon.

We booked a second boat! Thought we were sold out but came through and got us a second boat! Come join us on Tuesday evening onboard 2 open air boats, the Buccaneer or Bay King and enjoy a bay cruise looking for dolphins and wildlife and catching the sunset as you only can from sea. BTW, this cruise is BYOB, and we will be bringing your drinks. HOLLAND CLUB LUNCHEON - FAQ's

What is it? - An event to Honor our Holland Club Members. Our current Chairman is Jim Irwin

Who can go? - Everyone is invited and encouraged to come and honor our Holland Club Members. This is not just for HC Members.

What's special about this year's event?
- We have special speakers planned to present including WWII Submarine Veteran Bill Dillon who qualified onboard the USS Sailfish in 1943 along with author Stephen L. Moore.
-We may have some really special Holland Club inductions.
-We will have past National HC Chairman FLTCM(SS) Frank Lister in the house!
-The food will be excellent!
-It's a lunch so you don't have to get up early!

When is it?
-Wednesday Sept 9th, 2026.

What if I registered and didn't sign up?
-Just contact the convention chairman and let him know. We will add you to the list and make payment arrangements that suit you.
