Well, we all know about transiting long distances submerged but how about in a kayak? Our shipmate Luis Garcia (USS Ray, SSN-653, 1986) is part of what we are calling our SS series. Talks throughout the week about things subvets have done and/or may be interested in. Luis will share with you his adventure transitting the Mississippi River via kayak. Well, we can ask our "Official Timekeeper", Ryan C. Walker (USS Springfield, 2016). Ryan can take you back in time to discuss submarine history and Henry Breault or he can keep you on time with one of his new watches.
