For Workplace Lactation Week , we wanted to share the requirements of what a pumping room should have at the work place.

CCBN has been able to partner with some local agencies to make their lactation spaces abide by the Pump Act Laws. If you have any questions or would like CCBN to help you , just let us know!

September 1st-7th is Workplace Lactation Week!

If you are an employer of a lactating mother , it is important for you to know and understand the Pump Act Laws.

By abiding by these laws , it shows support of your employees and in turn , increase relationships and overall productivity.

We were honored to welcome the Coshocton County Breastfeeding Network to our Kiwanis meeting on Wednesday!

They shared information about the important work they are doing and the impact their network has on families and our community. We appreciate them taking the time to educate us, answer questions, and share their mission with our club.

Breastfeeding Awareness Month is here! This is why CCBN encourages and supports breastfeeding in Coshocton County! It touches so many women, across so many cultures, into the workplace, and women who may have a disability. All can breastfeed, it is all about overcoming whatever obstacle that may face! Many networks and organizations like CCBN are here to help 💛

Join us as we celebrate the many cultural and community observances that make National Breastfeeding Month such a powerful time for learning, advocacy, and connection. Throughout August and September, we'll honor the diverse voices, traditions, and movements that strengthen the First Food field.

We are so happy to have gotten the opportunity to partner with Clary Gardens to create a Mom & Baby space through our Community Partnership Collaborative grant we received. This is a room that was created to abide by the Pump Act Laws.

This room is available for breastfeeding, pumping , or use of the changing table. So many amazing events happen at this venue and we are so happy to provide a space for mothers! Next time you visit Clary Gardens , make sure to stop in to the Mother & Baby Room in the Red Compton House🤱
