I’m taking a leap and reconnecting with this passion in the art of photography. To me, it’s more than just passion, it’s a burning desire to want to share pieces of my soul. I’m working on my very own museum but there’s a ton of work ahead. Crazy, I know. And these digital pieces of artwork can now be purchased/owned as NFTs. It’s a brave new world and it’s just the beginning. For now I’m focusing on the body of work I’ve already created with 20+ years of photography and reconnecting with old friends.

I hope for This when I'm old and gray.

This moment was captured as part of a 50th Wedding Anniversary family photo session for this young couple. I simply said in amazement before pressing the shutter, "50 years, wow! may I ask you to touch cheek to cheek, close your eyes and remember the first time you first saw each other."

They stayed like this for a good 10 seconds as they inhaled, exhaled and the moment was gone. I remember getting goosebumps and knew I photographed something special.

Hello FB friends. I've completely neglected this page (huge apology), but it's time to get back after a long hibernation. I'm interested to see if any, still follow this page? Drop a like and nothing more. Like any sports team, there's a time to rebuild and that's where I find myself today. We find ourselves busier than ever in a world filled with endless possibilities.

1. I retired from the Navy in 2017 and now work at Fred Hutch
2. I'm new with NFT's (non-fungible tokens) and immersing myself in this new world and making connections
