Little background on myself. 5 years Timber Faller, worked on Oregon coastal line. Then eventually owned and operated my own business out there called JL Timber fallers LLC. 4 years.

I along with other top cutters on West Coast I was called out by Cal Fire to one of the most devastating fires in California history, the Paradise fire. Where I spent two plus weeks cutting, removing, trees /brush on fire. I worked alongside Cal fire a few more times, as an independent contractor off and on for a couple years.

After that, I moved to Northern Nevada where I started a tree and gardening business alongside my brother. Cut and maintained a lot of trees in the Lake Tahoe area. Privet residential upkeep. Then COVID hit, everything stopped.

Finally, decided in 2021 to move back home to Illinois. With my family by my side, we moved 2000 miles. It's been a hard go at it, since moving home. Happy to see old faces, meet new people. Happy to be a part of my community again. Hoping to fire this business off out here, and it will be as successful as it was on the West Coast.
