We have the right equipment to recover autos and trucks from off the road or damaged in accidents, heavy-duty truck rollovers including recovery of loads and livestock, and rescuing construction and farm equipment from all kinds of terrain, including ditches and mud. Damaged or not, we have a full range of transport options up to 13 axles with loads up to net 160,000 lbs. We have lowboys with 30′ wells and an 18″ deck, beam trailers, ag pullouts, various ramps, and scissor lifts. We offer 24-hour emergency load shift correction and recovery services. We can help with recovery, restacking, re-palletization, reloading, repacking, and securing the cargo. We even have livestock corrals.

Diversified Towing received a call from a company stating that their driver needed a winch-out. To get a better understanding of the situation, we asked the driver to send photos. It was then clear that the driver had completely missed his turn, leaving the trailer in the ditch and needing to be lifted back onto the pavement.

We dispatched our 50-ton rotator to handle the job. When we arrived on scene, we also noticed overhead power lines, adding another challenge to the recovery.

Our team evaluated the scene and carefully maintained a safe distance while lifting the trailer from the ditch and swinging it back onto solid ground. The driver was then able to safely get back on the road and continue to his destination.

We were contacted by another tow company from Minnesota to assist them with loading a fully loaded cement mixer drum with hardened concrete.

The tow company then transported the drum to one of our facilities in Creston, where we'll be hosting an upcoming heavy wrecker training.

We are honored to be part of the Tingley Memorial Park celebration yesterday. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all the veterans, near and far, who were honored during yesterday's ceremony. It was a great day of remembering, celebrating, and coming together as a community.

A big thank you to Bob Johnson for inviting us to display the flag at yesterday's event, and to everyone who helped make the celebration possible.

We had a heavy lift 💪 today in Creston, Iowa! We were hired to lift a 100,000-lb wheel loader that had been decommissioned. We used our two 50-ton heavy wreckers to split the weight on the heavier end, while our 1150 miller rotator lifted the other end. With proper rigging and trained operators, we were able to successfully load it onto a lowboy headed to Minnesota.

“Why does a tow cost more on the weekend?”

Because Saturday morning doesn't cost us the same as Monday morning.

When you call for a tow on a weekday, there are usually more people available to work. On weekends, holidays, and after hours, staffing is different. We have fewer people available, and the people who do come in are often working overtime.

That means the cost of putting a truck and a driver on the road can be higher.

And honestly, we understand why customers question it. When you're already dealing with a broken-down vehicle or an accident, the last thing you want to hear is that the price is higher because it's Saturday.

But think about it this way:

Call a plumber on a Saturday morning. Call an electrician on a holiday. Call a mechanic after hours.

You're usually paying more because you're asking someone to work outside normal business hours.

Towing is no different.

We don't charge more because we want to. We charge based on what it actually takes to have people available when most people are off work, spending time with their families, or simply enjoying their weekend.

And when you're stranded, you don't want to hear, “Sorry, it's the weekend. Nobody is available.”

You want someone to answer the phone.

You want a truck to show up.

And you want to get home safely.

That availability comes at a cost.
