I’ll be in Des Moines this March attending the 2026 .

These conferences are always a strong opportunity to connect with other professionals in the claims industry, exchange perspectives, and stay current on the real issues impacting our work.

I’m especially looking forward to discussing some of the legislative developments we’re seeing, including Kentucky’s HB568 and HB355, and how measures like these could influence the future of claims handling, appraisal, and public adjusting not just in Kentucky, but potentially nationwide.

Looking forward to the sessions, the networking, and the conversations with others working in property claims.

If you’re planning to attend, let me know. It would be good to connect.

Why a FULL-FACE respirator matters on fire inspections 🔥

Fire scenes aren’t just “smoky” — they’re toxic.

Burned homes can contain:
☠️ Acidic soot
☠️ Carcinogens (PAHs)
☠️ Formaldehyde & cyanide gases
☠️ Heavy metals from wiring, plastics, and insulation

A half-mask only protects your lungs.
A full-face respirator protects your lungs and your eyes — and soot can burn, absorb, and damage both.

If you can smell smoke, see soot, or disturb insulation or debris, a half-mask isn’t enough.

Rule of thumb:
👉 If the air is questionable, your PPE shouldn’t be.

Full-face isn’t overkill — it’s basic professional safety.

Glad to be back at it!!! Making new strides in 2026!!!!

🚨 Tornado Claim Success Story 🚨

This tornado loss didn’t start at six figures.
It started at $8,722.44.

After a complete forensic review of the damage, proper documentation, and disciplined engagement with carrier-retained experts, the claim was mutually resolved for a full settlement of $309,285.72 at a 3,446.4% increase.

No shortcuts.
No posturing.
Just facts, documentation, and professional advocacy.

This outcome was achieved by:
• Correctly identifying all storm-related damages
• Preparing a complete and defensible claim file
• Working directly and professionally with carrier experts
• Refusing to let scope gaps dictate the outcome

⚠️ Do not try to handle your claim inside the insurance company’s “sandbox.”
That system was not built to protect your interests.

Whether your loss is commercial or residential, Thoroughbred Alliance Group is here to level the field.
