I (31F) dated my ex-fiance Jose (33M) for five years, and we had been engaged for about 6 "real" months. We had a really good relationship. I thought he and I were going to end up being together for the rest of our lives and build a family. To make a long story short, I found out he had been cheating on me with a coworker for about 9 months (yes, before the engagement). At first, I was beyond mad, and my first impulse was to find ways to literally ruin his and her life. But honestly, after about 16 hours of thinking (and crying) about it (he was on a work trip), I figured anything I did would be a waste of time, and since my goal was to start a family, I felt like I didn't really have any more time to waste on someone who obviously isn't going to be in my life in the long-term (or short-term) So I just... let go? I packed all my things, asked my dad to help me move them back into the family home so I could get situated, and literally just started moving forward with my life. I just

So this is a throwaway and I really need some advice. So for some backstory about me when I was younger I was bullied for being fat basically and my mother wouldn't help me lose weight, so when I got into college I lost a lot of weight and gained muscle and now I'm 6'5 and 240 pounds. So me and my wife have been together since we were 25 we are now 32 and had our baby 6 months ago. She's had a hard time taking care of him so I've been helping in anyway I can, so I haven't had much time to go back to the gym. I haven't gained that much weight maybe 25 to 30 pounds, which is ok because I still look good. I plan to go back to the gym when he gets on a better sleep schedule and my wife isn't so tried. She's recently been telling me that I'm getting fat and I'm not as attractive as before. I mainly brush her comments off but she's been doing this a lot recently and it's been making me upset I've told her this and she said she'll stop but she hasn't. So

I F26 been with my fiancè for 3 years. We both work and we both share rent and other expenses. But My fiancè is currently looking for a new job. He lost his old job 3 months ago. My family lives 30min away and although it's been difficult this year I decided to get my brother (who has a chronic condition and struggled a lot lately and was in the hospital for a few days for anemia) the one thing he's been wanting for some time. I got him an Xbox that cost me 300$. He was so happy and I'm glad I was able to cheer him up during those times. My fiancè received a few gifts from his family. But he wasn't happy with any of them. I got him a perfume and he liked it. We were visiting my family and we had dinner with them. My fiancè looked at the Xbox I got for my brother and didn't stop talking about it. My parents noticed, I told him to stop complaining about what he got/didn't get this year. That made them uncomfortable especially since they've been dealing with my brother's health issues and needed to relax.

My fiance (28M) and I (30F) have been together for 3 years, I used to live close to work and used public transportation but after I moved in to his house which is hours away from work I bought myself a car since I'm a nurse and also since there isn't any hospitals close to where we live that I could transfer to. My fiance's car hasn't been working for close to 2 months now, It requires so much money to get it fixed and he refused my fiancial help when I offered it. Instead, he would ask to use my car every now and then and I agreed as long as it's when I'm not working and also, since he only uses it for trips to the supermarket etc. On new years eve, he told me he wanted to use my car to go hang out with his friends and celebrate but I declined because I had to cover a night shift and needed my car to travel to work. He insisted and even suggested I take the night off or swap shifts with another nurse but I couldn't do that last minute. I thought he dropped it then

Throwaway/fake names. I (34 M) am married to the love of my life Michelle (31 F) and have been with her for 13 years, married for 11. My wife is chronically ill and as soon as it was financially feasible I suggested she quit her job and stay at home. Since then I've become quite successful in my career and I've encouraged her to get out of the house to pursue the hobbies we didn't have money for, and that she didn't have time or energy for. We are incredibly happy with the direction our life is going and Michelle's mental and physical health has never been better. We split the household chores in accordance of how Michelle is feeling. On her good days she'll usually do just about everything that needs done before I'm even home but on those occasions where her illness is acting up a lot of it falls on me. I honestly do not mind. There isn't a whole lot for us to do on a day to day basis besides laundry, dishes, cooking, and tending to the dogs. We have a housekeeper who comes once a week and does most of the major stuff. I

My husband and I have been married for 9 years. In 2021, we found out my husband was being sued for child support. Turns out my husband had an affair shortly after we were married. It nearly ended our marriage, but we went to counseling together and I agreed to stay in the marriage with the following provisions: My husband was to get a second job so that his child support payments did not affect our household budget and that at no point in time would I ever consider having a relationship with this child. If he wanted to pursue one with them, fine. But I have absolutely zero interest in this kid. So my husband has been getting to know his kid over the past couple years and recently my husband came to me and informed me that there was some sort of baby mamma drama. Apparently, she has to self-surrender in May and is going to be incarcerated for 8 months. My husband told me that he needed to take custody while his affair partner is locked up, otherwise the kid would have to go to their grandparents who basically live on the opposite coast from us. Their

Before my wife and I got married, we made an agreement that she would get to name our first boy, and I would get to name our first girl. We recently discovered that she was pregnant with twins, and after talking about it, we decided to stick to our original plan. I thought everything would be fine, but ever since I heard the name she chose, we've been having problems. The name is bad. It sounds really stupid, and it's absolutely the kind of name that will get our son bullied. I immediately vetoed it, but my wife said I can't because that wasn't our agreement. I asked why she insisted on this particular name. Apparently it comes from a character she identified with in one of her favorite books when she was growing up. But emotional attachment doesn't make the name itself any better. I said fine, then I may as well name our daughter Hortensia Beerbong the Third. It sounds just as dumb. She told me I couldn't do that, and I just said why not? It's my choice. That was the agreement. We've been at an impasse ever since. Now, obviously, I'm not actually going to name

My father's in jail and she claims she's expecting his baby and she needs me to help. She wanted me to move in and help pay bills and help with the baby and make sure she has support for her delivery. I ignored her and blocked the account but then another account which is clearly also hers DM'd me and told me I was going to have a sibling and I should do something to make sure the baby's okay.

I run a nonprofit that fixes homes for those in need (single parents, disabled, seniors). We received a request after a fire ravaged an apartment. The victim was "Ruby," the best friend of my ex. I felt a knot of dread. After contacting Ruby, I learned a robot vacuum exploded, causing extensive damage. The building's insurance covers external repairs, but not the interior. Ruby lacks insurance. Here's the kicker: I know Ruby owns *another* apartment that she rents out! When I suggested she sell it or move there, " she WAiled, 'I don't want to lose my passive income!' ". My blood boiled. I explained we help those with *nothing*. I vetoed her application. Now my ex is furious, accusing me of spite. My inbox is flooded with hate mail, including accusations of "playing God." My hands are shaking from the vitriol. Was I wrong to deny help to someone who prioritizes "passive income" over basic shelter? ... [Read Full Story & Verdict] ⬇️
