If you’re hiring (even just one person), there are documents you legally need to have on file.

🔐 At minimum, keep:
✔️ Form I-9 (proof of work eligibility)
✔️ W-4 (tax withholding form)
✔️ Signed offer letters + policies (like your handbook or code of conduct)

👉 Bonus tip: Store them in a secure, backed-up system — not just your inbox.

They’re probably a W2 employee — not a 1099 contractor.
