I was praying for all of our customers yesterday & the Lord began to remind me of some families that we used to serve pretty regularly, but we haven't seen on the schedule in a while. So I did something I've never done before; I texted all of them personally, let them know I was thinking of them & asked them how I can be praying for them. Usually, we only communicate on a more personal level with active clients just because it's more natural that way. But God was just really impressing on me to reach out.

A few of these answers just... absolutely shocked me. I spent hours yesterday interceding for intimate details of these people's lives, and it was my favorite day of work that I've had in a long time. I don't even think I could call it "work". Yesterday was a ministry day.

From getting to speak into their circumstances to even getting to provide tangible needs for a few, I got to be a sister in Christ to people who would otherwise be strangers if it weren't for this connection we have through S&L.

God really knew what He was doing when He birthed this ministry, and it's such an honor to give our yes to Him. I've been so MOVED by the way God used this small morsel of obedience to a random nudge He placed on my heart. I'm amazed by how He sees us when we are drowning & always sends a lifeline. He never abandons His kids. He's always on time.

Was reflecting on a picture God gave me in my mind during my devo time a few years ago…

I saw two people meeting Jesus at the gates. Both confessed Him during their lives on earth. Both attended church.

The first one ran to meet Him & said “FINALLY. I’ve been waiting to see you my whole life & now I’m here.”

The second one did the same but it was awkward. Different. Like they were strangers getting to know each other. Like a parent meeting their estranged child.

What a joy in will be to run into His arms having had a real history with Him. Real relationship during our time on earth. To actually recognize Him vs suddenly being thrust into eternity without any practice.

We should have deep, rich history with Him by the time we meet Him face to face

"Simply incredible! We moved out of a home that had a mold issue in February 2026. Upon resettling in a new home the following August, I found several of my family members reacting to the clothing that had been packed away.

With moving, and trying to wash everything for a family of 10...the laundry was simply too much for me to manage, especially since it was causing reactions every time I tried to launder things from the old house.

Salt & Light Laundry Services to the rescue! I was able to schedule, add in my preferences of laundry additives and specific instructions, and get laundry picked up and returned neatly folded and freshly cleaned in such a short turnaround time.

I am so blessed to have the ability to use their services. What a gift!"
