Small business collaboration. 🫶🏻

I’ve worked with Beth Butler , Marcus Mallett & the team at Lonestar Box Rental for some time now. Helping our clients with box rentals, getting moving quotes, or bringing them in to handle the moving portion of one of our projects.

And I love that the trust goes both ways.

This week, Beth called me in to collaborate on one of their upcoming moves. We walked the home together, talked through the details, and created a plan where We're Simply Organized LLC handles the packing and their team handles the move.

For the client, that means less coordinating, fewer moving pieces to manage, and two businesses that already know and trust one another working together behind the scenes.

This is one of my favorite things about small business. We can build relationships, stay in our lanes, do what we each do best, and create a better experience for the people we serve.

Good partnerships make good business and great client experiences.

A busy mom wanted her son's toys nearby but not taking over the living room.

Instead of trying to make more space, we created a toy rotation closet utilizing space she already had but wasn’t being used to its full potential.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that more toys mean happier kids. In reality, too many choices can be overstimulating and often limit creative play. So we limited visible options for this little guy.

Now, his favorites stay out for a few weeks while the rest are tucked away. When it's time to rotate, the toys feel new again, and the living room stays a place the whole family can enjoy.

Not all clients need product, in fact, I try not to suggest it if they have items already or if we don’t yet know what they will keep. However, this time, my client is moving into a new home and we’re setting up fresh new systems for her.

We’re taking care of the shopping so she and her husband can focus on their upcoming closing! 🏡
