Tonight I met with a client whose home we’ll be unpacking and organizing on Friday.
Before every project, I spend time walking the space measuring, taking pictures, understanding the layout, and creating a plan so we can be intentional when our team walks through the door.
This one is a full-home unpack and organization for a busy professional who recently moved into a beautiful lake house but but like so many successful women, her schedule is full and she simply hasn’t had the time to get everything settled the way she wants.
We walked out to the field as she shared with me the story of how the house became hers & I couldn’t help but take a picture. But as I was leaving, I caught this little glimpse of the lake between the trees and had to stop and take a 2nd picture.
For me, what I do is never just about unpacking boxes. It’s never just about pretty closets or organized cabinets, I t’s about creating a home that allows you to actually enjoy the life you’ve worked so hard to build.
Soon she won’t be staring at boxes or unfinished spaces, she’ll be able to host her parents, welcome friends, enjoy her new home with her dog, cat, pigeon, and her chickens … and finally settle into this next chapter.
What a privilege it is to be trusted with someone’s home during such a big transition.
I can’t wait to see this transformation come together.
