Creating a new product category created a special educational challenge for . Creating informational graphics like these illustrating the difference between CuffedUp and a Slap Bracelet was an interesting challenge and fun piece of educational content.
-
Leveraging and the I was about to highlight the differences in the 2 products and some of the patented design changes that were made to allow CuffedUp to function. These design changes were made as a result of the process and the feedback we received from customers through the product design process.

To help promote the new luxury line of CuffedUp we rented a studio to shoot some new product photos and video. This video is the final product used to help promote the new line. This video was designed and formatted for web, social, story, and ads. The creative direction, steered by the co-founder, was clearly captured in the video. Illustrating the playfulness of the brand while highlighting the various styles and tastes that the new Cufflets can work with.
-
I helped behind the camera to capture the video and then edited it in post using and to piece together this dynamic ad.

One of my personal favorites from the luxury line from called a Cufflet - Our Salmon Skin Cufflets has an amazing feel, are extremely durable and beautifully treated - these products were designed to visible while retaining the functional application of the original product (to keep sleeves rolled). These are the editorial Images we did for media outlets, product listings, and advertising materials.
-
With my co-founder, , we selected a set of apparel grade Salmon Skin and hired female leatherworks in the to produce them. These add a pop of color and have a material quality that feels very luxurious.

In addition to the logo design, I prototyped and helped design the product itself. Making minor changes down to the millimeters on the thickness, tampering, length width, etc. After testing them on the strangers at our gym and local coffee shop, and I developed an amazing unisex product that is one-size-fits-most and has sold over 30K units to date and been featured in publications like !
-
The branding elements on the bottom of the product leverage the brand elements and logo. Additionally, they serve a functional purpose and are raised allowing them to secure clothes in place and grip without damaging clothing or squeezing the arm to the point of discomfort. This simple design element amplified the usability of the product making it lightweight and so comfortable most people forgot they were wearing it!
-
P.S. I designed the packaging as well! More to come on that!

For the brand of CuffedUp, I created a series of branding elements to be used on the website, packaging, promotional graphics, etc. in the form of pattern or stand-alone. The assets were made physically (Brand Elements - 2) for events and product photography. They are featured on the stickers in the same image as well to show the combinations of applications in one image. ⠀
-⠀
All brand elements were inspired by the product itself. ⠀
🔺 Triangle = Button grabber/gap⠀
🔵 Circle = Shape of the product closed⠀
🟨 Rectangle = Shape of product flat⠀
♒️ Wave = How the product flow and moves with the wearer⠀
-⠀
Within the brand pattern, there is "C" which is derived from the logo and has become the mark for the company being featured on our new luxury Cufflets, stickers, and website. ⠀
