Thanks to all for a fantastic 2022!! It's been an exceptionally rewarding journey adjusting to balancing being a full-time student with my professional and personal life. I couldn't have done it without the support of clients, colleagues, family, friends (new and old), professors, advisors, and mentors!!! My heart is full of gratitude going into 2023!

Sunday, September 11: The Memorial will be closed to the public until 3 p.m. for the commemoration ceremony. The Museum will remain closed to the public all day so that 9/11 families may visit privately.

The Denton County Community Food Center is looking for volunteers (especially bilingual Spanish speakers) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and while we rightfully celebrate the man and his accomplishments, we should not forget that his dream is not yet fully realized. This holiday is a reminder to be observant and introspective. When we can see ourselves and our community with clarity, we may come closer to advancing his dream - and the possibility to be the truly 'United' States.
