Dr. Ibarra has an analytical and leadership background, and experienced in opening, expanding, and streamlining operations. He has led companies with the most recent being Jaguar Logistics, the largest on-demand medical transport company in the state of Texas. His skills are in industrial and systems engineering, logistics, and operations management, as well as strategic planning and business development. He has completed and implemented numerous operational plans, performed various analyses, and conducted multiple feasibility, tradeoff, and marketing studies that ultimately led to improving processes, reducing costs, gaining market share, and increasing company awareness. He uses systems engineering techniques, the forefront for large-scale projects that looks at the totality of the system that ensures involvement from the multiple competing stakeholders of various departments, to help me lead and support divisions and companies. He has also developed and implemented key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the Balanced Scorecard to hold individuals to standards, determine raises and bonuses, and enhance service and good will. He understands the nuances involved in implementing such items and have developed a cadence to deliver and implement them effectively. Furthermore, Dr. Ibarra has over thirty years of management and leadership experience. He has been responsible for all facets of operations at United Parcel Service (UPS), Business Courier Service, and Jaguar Logistics. He worked in various departments from Marketing, Sales and Operations, to Engineering and Consulting, and held multiple positions from Manager and Director to Executive Vice President and CEO. Dr. Ibarra received his Ph.D. in applied science from Southern Methodist University with an emphasis in systems engineering and logistics. He has taught graduate courses in logistics systems engineering at SMU’s Bobby B. Lyle School of Engineering, and supply chain management and e-Business at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management.
