DID YOU KNOW the IRS has an online account for you where they post balances due, upload letters sent to you in the mail and provide tax transcripts that show what you filed and what was filed for you each year?

It wasn’t until I was working in the finance industry that I learned about ID.me. I would file my taxes and wait for a response or deposit/withdrawal having no idea if it was received or accepted. The whole process felt out dated and erroneous but the resources are there at the bottom of that tax notice you didn’t fully read 😉
