What an amazing accomplishment for Restaurant Beatrice. Attaining a B Corp certification for sustainability and inclusiveness clearly involves an extraordinary amount of work, will and purposefulness. I hope other restaurateurs are inspired by Michelle Carpenter and Hanh Ho's achievement and follow in Beatrice's foodsteps. Bravo!!! Thank you to Eater Dallas' Courtney E. This coming Wednesday, Aug. 28, I'll be hosting the Art of the Aperitivo at Il Pastaio, in the center of Eataly Dallas. It'll be fun and laid back, a group of 15 max at a communal table. Giant congratulations to my wonderful client Gemma Restaurant — nominated for a Beard Award for Outstanding Hospitality. One of just five restaurants in the country to be recognized in that category, they are in excellent company. What an honor!!! Kudos to owners (and dear friends) Allison Yoder and Stephen Rogers, who knock it out of the park (supported by amazing teams) at both of their restaurants (Gemma and Sachet Restaurant) every day. Heartfelt congratulations, too to David Uygur , nominated (also at the national level) for Outstanding Chef (Lucia Dallas) and to Misti Norris , nominated for Best Chef: Texas for Petra and the Beast. I'm a huge fan of both! Congrats all around!!!!

Wow wow wow!!!! Giant congratulations to my wonderful client Leigh Hutchinson and Via Triozzi, and many thanks to Pat Sharpe and Texas Monthly for the recognition!!! It's an incredible honor to be included in this illustrious group. Kudos to all those included: Katami Houston; Le Margot - Fort Worth; Quarter Acre Dallas; 61 Osteria; Josephine's Gulf Coast Tradition; Bureau de Post; Leche DE Tigre Cebichería Peruana; Elro Pizza + Crudo; and Ezov. Looking forward to dining with y'all in the near future!

Only 11 restaurants appear on all three of Dallas' best restaurants lists, and three are Leslie Brenner Concepts clients. Bravo, Billy Can Can, Gemma Restaurant and Partenope Ristorante! All are feel-great places that consistently treat guests to wonderful food and an outstanding experience.

Congratulations to them, along with El Carlos Elegante, José, Lucia Dallas, Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen, Revolver Taco Lounge, Roots Southern Table, Rye. Craft Food and Drink. and Taco y Vino. Many thanks to Lauren Daniels and Dallas Observer for this terrific story about the new four-course fixed-price format at The Village Meridian. Distinct from luxe, over-the-top tasting menus, more modest 3- or 4-course menus are friendly to diners and to the restaurants that offer them. Europe has loved the format for eons — it's exciting to see it finally taking off in the U.S.!

Meridian is forging a less-taken path with a new prix fixe menu. Before you grumble about being told what to eat, hold your skittish horses. It's nuanced. And compelling.

Couldn't be more excited about this: Meridian  is the lede review (a rave!!) in Texas Monthly! We are so proud and happy...

With this beautiful restaurant — where he is gorgeously and deliciously inventing modern Brazilian cuisine — Junior Borges is making it crystal clear that he is one of the most outstanding and exciting chefs, not only In the U.S., but in the world. (And we promise we’re not just saying that because The Village Dallas is our client.) Have we mentioned that Meridian Is the first modern Brazilian fine-dining restaurant In the country? 💫

Realizing such a singular vision and attaining this level of excellence isn’t something anyone can do alone, and as everyone who has dined here knows, the entire experience Is amazing — from the stellar, Brazil-inspired cocktails and sommelier Caitlin Peters' fabulous wine list to the passionately engaged, outstanding servers and bartenders (all under Brandy Davis Spence and Casie Caldwell's inspiring leadership), to head baker and pastry chef David Madrid's incredible breads and desserts. And none of it would be possible without awesome CDC Justin Mosley and all the super-talented and dedicated chefs and line cooks In Meridian's beautiful kitchen who achieve mind-blowingly excellent ex*****on night after night.
