Since yesterday afternoon , I've been flooded with supportive personal messages.
Thank you so much for your support, compassion and love. I had absolutely NO idea that so many people connected with my story and journey. For the first time, I'm not alone. Amem!n!
It's been a heartfelt experience to read the feedback and VICTOR stories. If I haven't replied to you yet (I apologize), it's because I try to dedicate my evenings to Tre, my son, and I want to create a quiet and sacred space to reply. :)
I am blown away at the willingness YOU have to share your story. Some of you, are complete strangers, yet I feel like I know you to the core! Because your VICTOR story touched me deeply and your fearless vulnerability inspired me.
Thank you for your honesty and courage.
Here's what I ask of YOU... I am genuinely interested in your perspective and I'd love for you to share your story! Share yourself. The pain, the joy, the "turned your skin soil-gainy-dirty". The "I told you, I could do it" story. The moving stories you conceal from everyone ...the real YOU!
YOU MAY JUST BE THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON someone gets up in the morning and tries to be a better person. YOU just might inspire someone to start a blog about his/her journey. Or even more powerful, YOU (Yes YOU, most lively one) may save a LIFE!
Whether your story saved a life or helped inspire a more vibrant life; Your story matters. And I want to help you share it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
It took a good amount of humbleness, ego burning, and courage to share my story. Not gonna lie to ya....
I'm a tad bit prideful. ;) And I admit, I'm REALLY bad at telling people about my weak times. That sh! # is personal and difficult to share. Because I know my divine self is a POWERFUL woman, an attentive MOTHER, a bad-ass PEACEFUL WARRIOR and a FIGHTER for the good. So for me to publicly announce, that those are qualities are ones I had to hit bottom for....dig deep for...and cultivate... well, it's hard for me. And the experience of sharing that journey of loss, pain, love, and joy is liberating. And isn't that what we are all looking for?!
Your VICTOR story is significant and important. Even, if just to me.
I'd love to hear your story and be a cheerleader for your journey. My mission is to let people know...
1. YOU are inspiring and awesome. And wonderful. And WAY more than enough.
2. YOU can change the world, one story at a time.
3. The collective "us", with solid support for each other, could make a REAL and LASTING difference in the world.
Comment here with your story or tag with your post. If you want to be anonymous, email me at [email protected] and I will proudly share your message if you'd like. Anonymously and respectfully.
Now is the time to make a difference by sharing who you are. And your VICTORY journey.
Warrior on, lovies.
In peace, Shanell
