I'm looking for a marketing intern to join my ACLARUS marketing team. This is an opportunity for someone working on a marketing or graphic design degree to get some practical experience in their desired field.

ACLARUS marketing is a small boutique agency that works with small and medium businesses to help them grow their brand at an affordable price. We have been in business since 2012. This is a virtual position with at least weekly check-in meetings. Intern must have their own laptop or desktop for work and must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities include:
* Design, create, and modify websites on the Wix platform - no coding skills needed, if you can do PowerPoint or MS Publisher, you can work on this platform
* Creating user interfaces and designing layout of pages
* Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
* Creating written and graphic elements as needed
* Deliver required materials as directed and on time

Qualifications include:
* Strong design skills with a good understanding of color schemes, layout, current trends
* Excellent English skills - both written and verbal
* Strong understanding of how websites and apps work both on computer and mobile
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent understanding of how websites and apps work
* Self starter who can work independently
* Ability to manage own work and reach out when you need help
* Professional demeanor and strong desire to learn
* Appropriate eligibility to work in the U.S.

This is a virtual position. All meetings will be conducted via Zoom/phone. You must have your own computer to work from.

Today was a great day. Besides the beautiful weather, I got to watch one of my amazing clients, Sonu Varkey, speak and do magic for the Plano Rotary. Then I went to one of my fav coffee shops, Liberation Coffee, and did some work before meeting with clients. A pretty awesome day. 😎🎉🎈
