Lately I’ve been helping explore branding concepts for a wealth management firm — in this case, Alexander Wealth Management.
“Alexander” is not only the founder’s first name; it’s also the name of a highly respected French horn maker — a fitting connection for someone who is himself a talented horn player and wealth advisor.
What I find especially compelling is the philosophical connection between music and finance. Both worlds value discipline, precision, composure under pressure, and long-term performance.
The logo concept itself is intentionally restrained — an abstract “A” with a subtle curvature inspired by the form and resonance of the French horn.
I’ve always been drawn to branding that relies more on inferred meaning and subtle association than overly literal symbolism.
Curious what others think about this kind of symbolic approach to brand-building.
