Haas Estimating and Consulting Services specializes in Lumber Takeoffs for the Multifamily Industry. We have developed a streamlined system made of of spreadsheets that cover all components of the wood framed system. We use On Center Software for all our Takeoffs and at the completion of the takeoff we will print up all the OST Takeoffs and Spreadsheets and furnish a PDF of those takeoff to tell a

story of the takeoff. We also will provide the summary report and a per area or building breakdown. We also offer Estimates on all design stages of the project including the final construction estimate all based off complete and accurate takeoffs and unit pricing. The final Pre-bid Estimate can be used to compare your bid proposals that you receive from your Subcontractors and Vendors and a selection can be made by you to utilize those proposals when you have leveled those proposals. We can also provide assistance in the solicitation of those proposal and the entire bid process. We also offer other services such as Value Engineering, Change Order processing and other services as required.

Elpaso Memorial Housing Project is a Affordable Housing project that is being developed in San Antonio by San Antonio Alt Housing Corporation. Haas Estimating and Consulting Services has been Contracted to provide Construction Management for owner. The house they are referring in the News Report originally located next to the Historical Elpaso Memorial Funeral Home. It has to be relocated to give way for the apartment project. Instead of demolishing the home SAAHC is moving it approx 4 miles away to a residential developement to be redone and rented to a lucky family at a affordable rate.

The Funeral Home will be refurbished and used as a Community Center for the Housing Project.

The San Antonio organization said preserving the historic structure is costlier than razing it. But it fulfills their mission of creating “dignified” housing.
