Here's what actually happened…

One of my Slate users had been fighting an ATT U-Verse collection with I.C. System for years. Multiple attempts. Nothing moved it.

On May 21st, she followed the process inside Slate (the AI credit strategist I built at Heard AI Labs)

Letters went out.

May 26th, I.C. System received them.

June 1st, she had a letter in her hands. Subject line: Credit Reporting Removal.

They investigated. They couldn't verify the account. They requested deletion from the credit reporting agencies themselves.

Eleven days.

Here's what most people don't understand about collections: the agency reporting it has a legal obligation to verify every detail of what they're reporting. When they can't (and they often can't) the right letter, formatted correctly, citing the right statutes, sent to the right party, ends it.

That's not a trick. That's the law.

What she sent wasn't a generic dispute. It was built on a methodology that knows the difference between a letter that gets ignored and one that triggers an investigation.

She'd been fighting this for years. The right process made it an 11-day problem.
