Lots of new faces here, so I wanted to re-introduce myself.

I’m Elisa. Dallas-based wardrobe stylist, consultant, founder of Turnkey Style, and author of The Style Advantage: I Say What HR Can’t.

I work with real women (sizes 0–3X) who work, lead, raise kids, travel, and are caregivers.
My clients are not looking for high fashion, they are looking for outfits that fit, feel good, give them confidence, and help them show up polished in the middle of real life.

This is why you are stuck

You are still dressing for a chapter you already finished.

You’re not the same person you were in chapter 2 of your life… so why is your closet still dressed for that person?

This morning I was speaking to a room of professionals in the commercial real estate space and I shared that life is like a book.

You might be on chapter 10 or chapter 20. No matter what chapter You’re on you don’t keep going back to reread chapter 2 unless the plot is really complicated.

You have to embrace the chapter you’re actually in.

That means letting go of the version of you who lived in the previous chapters, the clothes that no longer fit your body, your role, or the person you’ve become.

One attendee raised their hand and said, “But it takes time to go through everything and figure out what still works.”

I looked at them and said, ‘You’re right. It does take time. And you are worth every single minute of it.

When you finally take that time, something shifts. You stop guessing. You start showing up as the person who belongs in this chapter. You start showing up authentically, on brand, and with confidence.
