Mass timber. Meaningful impact. Happy client.

Our team recently completed the Edmonds School District Covered Play Structure in Edmonds, Washington, delivering a beautiful new outdoor play space centered around an exposed mass timber roof structure designed for the Pacific Northwest environment. Working alongside HKP Architects and Edmonds School District, we transformed an existing play area into a durable, welcoming space complete with new basketball hoops and enhanced recreational opportunities for students.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the response it received. The client was incredibly happy with the finished product, and the new covered play area has quickly become a well-loved addition to the school community. From students and teachers to families and neighbors, it's exciting to see the positive impact this space is already making.

Projects like this remind us that great partnerships and thoughtful construction can leave a lasting mark, regardless of project size.

From farmland to family fun!

Our team was proud to deliver the Town of Garner, NC Government's Yeargan Park, a vibrant recreational space that celebrates Garner, North Carolina's humble past and natural settings. Formerly used for agriculture, this approximately 48-acre project involved large-scale grading, underground utility coordination, drainage and site preparation.

The result? A stunning, family-fun destination park with recreational amenities that appeal to all visitors. Highlights include:

⚽ Four multi-use fields for the Town's growing soccer and lacrosse athletics programs

🚶‍➡️ A pedestrian path for connection to downtown Garner

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A large playground and open community gathering spaces that are fun for the whole family

🛣️ Paved parking, internal roads and sidewalks to ensure easy access for all

The project was delivered responsibly, with robust erosion and sediment control measures implemented to protect surrounding environments throughout construction, as well as preservation of farmstead structures, a one-of-a-kind pecan grove and mature forest.

We were honored to host our 14th Annual Client Charity Golf Tournament at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club, where clients, partners and friends came together for a beautiful day on the course in support of the American Heart Association.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, participants and volunteers, we raised $40,000 to help advance heart health research, education and advocacy.
