Last week I shared the first day of school for my boys…
Today, it’s my daughter’s turn. ❤️
My daughter Breyonna officially started her SENIOR YEAR of college today! 🎓🙌🏾
SENIOR YEAR.
Man… where does the time go?
As a father, there’s something special about watching your children grow from little kids who depend on you for everything into young adults who are beginning to build lives, pursue dreams, make decisions, and discover everything God has placed inside of them.
Last week I said that as entrepreneurs, we can spend so much time thinking about businesses, revenue, clients, goals, impact, and the legacy we’re trying to build…
But THIS is part of the legacy too.
And today I’m reminded of it all over again.
I’ve accomplished some things in business that I’m proud of.
I’ve helped a lot of people.
I’ve built businesses, written books, coached entrepreneurs, and pursued the assignments God has given me.
But no business accomplishment will ever replace the privilege of watching my children grow into the people God created them to be.
Breyonna, I’m incredibly proud of you.
My prayer for you in this final year is that you don’t just finish…
You finish STRONG.
That God continues to give you wisdom.
That He directs your steps.
That you continue becoming the woman He created you to be.
And that when you walk across that stage, you recognize that you’re not simply closing one chapter…
You’re stepping into the beginning of another one.
Breyonna — College Senior. 🎓
One more year.
One more chapter.
And one VERY proud Dad. ❤️
Let’s finish strong, baby girl!
P.S. And before anybody says it… YES, she looks just like her Daddy. 😂 She’s basically the younger, MUCH prettier version of me. 🤣
I can’t even deny that one. ❤️
