High rise technicians work on commercial buildings that are 3 floors and above by SPRAT or IRATA methods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Tie and secure ropes to rooftop anchors meeting all rope access requirements.
• Descend using ropes, harness and other rope access equipment
• Exterior window cleaning using squeegee
• Interior window cleaning, including relites, and high dusting using proper window cleaning equipment.
• Power washing
• Ability to follow safety procedures, SPRAT/IRATA guidelines and OSHA guidelines.
• Must provide oversite, supervision, and planning over SPRAT Level 1 & 2 technicians.
• Work in teams with other technicians
• Ensure customer satisfaction
Job Requirements:
• Rope Access certification – Level 3 SPRAT/IRATA required
• Window Cleaning Experience preferred
• Lift Operator certification/experience preferred
• Swing stage experience preferred
• Have the ability to lift minimum of 75 lbs on a regular basis
General Competencies:
• No fear of heights
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work in temperatures ranging from 0-100 degrees
• Able to assemble, lift and climb ladders
• Self-Motivated, Coachable
