10/10 recommend 😭🙌🏽 I’m so grateful I finally found a Dallas Braiding shop that’s professional and washes your hair.

After moving from Chicago, it has been a task to find all of my new beauty professionals.

I’m very particular about my hair and I honestly get a little nervous before I try a new salon.

I am so grateful to have partnered with to try out this new style.

I love it that their salon name includes luxury, and the service feels like LUXURY!!

When I say, they made me feel so comfortable the whole time and were SO patient with me when I switched my desired style in the middle of my appointment. 😅

I spend a lot of time at the gym and I have a busy lifestyle. That’s why it’s so important for me to find protective styles that are not only functional so but cute!

I’m SO glad I ventured out to try this style because it ATE DOWN.

I keep getting compliments everywhere I go!

And the takedown?! The fact that they took down my boho knotless braids, preserved the human hair from my braids, washed and detangled my hair, andddd styled it to perfection! They were incredible!

Now the thing about me?! I gotta be honest.

These braids look so neat and you’re probably wondering, was it too tight?!

Surprisingly NO. Though a few moments of braiding felt tight at the front but, once her hands released the braid I literally felt no tension. I think my scalp just a little tender on the side in 2 spots.

But when I say after days of this install, I have no tension, no bumps… none of that! 😇

Which is your fave? 😍 It’s the last one for me 🥹 It’s beyond little Candace’s wildest dreams!

I’m seriously so proud of all I’ve accomplished since a kid.

I always knew I was different. I always knew I’d live a BIG life in some way.

But honestly, serving God and being obedient to Him has been the best part.

Am I wrong?! 😅 Honestly Good Soil Forum was another room that gave me a breath of fresh air… it reminded me to keep dreaming BIG.

This conversation between Bishop T.D. Jakes and Tyler Perry was truly amazing. I had chills as they were speaking.

I loved learning about how he thinks because I can tell that his lack in younger years gave him space to get creative as he grew older.

For such an amazing event to be happening right here in Dallas, there’s no reason not to get in the room next year.

It’s not your average business conference. It merges the worlds of faith and business and had some of the most powerful speakers I’ve ever seen in the same room.

Anywho… all I know is I’m building what I’m building different!

Thank you T.D. Jakes Foundation & Good Soil Forum for inviting me! Can’t wait to be in the room next year!

Would you try press ons? 👇🏽 Here’s how I remove press on nails 😘 without damage of course 🙌🏽

Press ons have become so popular. I used to do them all the time in 2019 but they would pop off all the time so I retired…

But now that brands make much better quality nails and glue… babyyyyy I’m a press on girlie for sure!

I DIY my nails at home lately and it saves me soooo much money! And I’m never disappointed because I always know exactly what I’m going to get before I start.

That’s not always the case at the nail salon. I may not like the design or something and I have to deal with it for 2-4 weeks if the salon isn’t willing to fix it.

Anywho… I’m sharing the best problem to have… my press on nails be STUCK on my fingers.

I used to struggle to remove my press on nails because I had found the BEST glue! And it works like a charm!!!

1️⃣ Take hot water in a bowl and add dish detergent and olive oil.

2️⃣ Soak your press on nails in the water for 10 minutes.

3️⃣ Use a tool to lift the nail gently.

4️⃣ Apply nail glue remover under the nail & lift the nail gently.

5️⃣ Keep repeating steps 2-4 until you’re able to remove your press ons safely and gently.

Would you agree?

Righteousness and perfectionism are two different things.

God calls us to holiness, but we are all flawed.

This is why REPENTANCE exists. It’s not just for people who are first coming to Christ.

REPENTANCE IS FOR BELIEVERS.

There are countless examples in scripture where very flawed humans who walked with God sinned.

They missed the mark.

Think about the children of Israel.

Think Abraham, Sarah, Jonah, David, Moses…

The list could go on.

Nobody is perfect but that is NOT an excuse to keep running from the call.
