The market doesn’t understand who you are…

I’ve been beating the drum of Purpose and identity for 10+ years now. One of the biggest setback I’ve seen among purpose driven entrepreneurs is, they have a deep conviction on who they are and even the solution they want to bring to the market.

Where things falls flat is articulating that value to the market.

There’s a saying that goes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the same is true for value. Value is in the eye of the beholder, so at some point deep conviction needs to translate to needs and desires.

Weak brand positioning then leads the founder to Purpose dilution and in the search for that one golden goose, they block the optimum profitability and the business they love takes up more of their time away from family, friends and the things they love.

We’ve been deep diving on positioning with 17 entrepreneurs in our eco-system and I really want to make our diagnostic P4 framework available for more CEOs.

I see so many entrepreneurs undercharging in business…

Not because they aren’t smart, but because they stay in rooms where the conversation about money is lack and doubt.

What they are actually living from is transferred belief and not innate thinking. The belief has been transferred to the point where the conversation in their head cannot be elevated outside of that.

It even sounds like them at this point.

Then the friends, family and self talk strengthens that way of thinking. Before you know it, your confidence is eroded and you’re undercharging while thinking that’s how much your services are really worth.

Even believing people won’t pay you more.
