Not every lesson at QCA comes from a workbook. 😂

This week, our students got a surprise visit from Mrs. Flush — here to teach bathroom etiquette in the most unforgettable way possible. 🚽✨

From toilet paper disasters to “mystery messes,” the kids learned:
✔️ cleanliness
✔️ responsibility
✔️ consideration for others
✔️ independence

And yes… there was lots of laughter involved.

Sometimes the lessons children remember most are the ones that make them giggle first. 💜

Truth

🚨 SCHOOLS WERE NEVER DESIGNED TO RAISE CHILDREN.
It might sound blunt—but it’s important.
Somewhere along the way, expectations shifted. Schools are now asked to do it all:
teach academics,
shape behavior,
instill values,
support mental health,
bridge social gaps,
and ultimately raise children.
When everything is placed on one system, cracks begin to show.
Teachers aren’t leaving because they don’t care.
They’re burning out because they care deeply—
in a system that keeps expanding their responsibilities.
Schools can support.
They can guide.
They can influence and shape.
But they were never meant to replace what begins at home.
And when that boundary gets blurred,
it doesn’t just overwhelm teachers—
it also makes it harder for students to receive what they truly need.
Because no single system can do everything well.
The sooner we recognize that,
the sooner we can start making things better

That’s why we’ve partnered with a local wellness studio to offer optional support for things like focus, emotional regulation, and sensory balance.

Every child is different, and sometimes learning becomes easier when those underlying needs are supported as well.
