When irrigation ponds are not managed, it can lead to increased algae growth. As a result, irrigation pumps may become clogged. The pond pictured below is an example from my client today. The video showcases how the dredge moves sediment. The agitator and dredge pump work together to excavate and transfer unwanted sediment. An agitator pump disrupts the bottom sediment by high-pressure jetting, as the dredge pump vacuums up and pushes the disrupted sediment.
