Hey friends! I just wanted to pop on here and tell you a little bit about myself :)
As a virtual assistant and business consultant, I bring a wide variety and a unique set of experiences to the table.
I graduated in 2020 from Cedarville University with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. I went on to work at a CPA firm (Goldshot, Lamb, & Hobbs) where I had interned during college. I gained a lot of hands-on experience working in the nitty-gritty details and the behind-the-scenes of businesses.
After a little over a year, I resigned from the CPA firm to start my own business. I was a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for a little over a year, and opened a small studio where I could see clients one-on-one. It was during this period of time that I learned the art of providing a service, and understanding and meeting client needs.
While I was running my fitness studio, I held a part-time job at a local manufacturer (DM Tool & Plastics), where I worked on the administrative team. I had always loved administrative work and held a variety of administrative jobs throughout my college career.
It was in this position that I truly came into my own. I helped the company improve its SOPs and tracking systems, and worked one-on-one with the manufacturing team to improve the workflow. Besides that, I became known as the person who would "figure it out," and was tasked with leading a variety of administrative and workflow-oriented projects that were both tedious and complex.
I discovered that I not only enjoyed administrative work but also had a knack for efficiency, organization, and system creation. I'm adaptable, versatile, and willing to take on and learn new tasks.
And that's what prompted me to start a Virtual Assisting business. I noticed that most businesses are in dire need of administrative help...but they DON'T need 30-40 hours worth of help. They don't want to pay 40 hours' worth of wages when there are only 5 hours of work to do.
As a virtual assistant, I remove the overhead of having a full-time employee, only working the hours that you need...and nothing more.
Virtual Assisting is still, in many ways, a "new-fangled" idea. But for you, as small businesses and independent business owners (or simply individuals with a lot on their plate), having a virtual assistant in your corner can help you run your business smoothly, ensure the administrative work doesn't get brushed aside, and buy back time that you'd rather spend with your family or doing what you love.
