Monday night, our Everything from Nothing: Full Circle Quest conversation brought together a room full of people thinking deeply about what sustainability can look like in practice - not just through reduction, but through use, movement, and transformation.
We explored how materials, systems, and ideas already in motion can be reimagined to extend value and create new possibilities.
Our panel shared thoughtful perspectives on how this work is showing up locally, from building more sustainable systems within our community to the everyday choices individuals can make at home. The conversation felt grounded, honest, and shaped by real, lived experiences.
More than anything, it was a reminder that sustainability isn’t one single solution. It’s something we shape together through small decisions, collaboration, and a willingness to think differently about what already exists.
Huge thank you to our speakers: Meg Maloney, Jack Rees, Brett Bogan, and Cassie Austin. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a meaningful evening.
And a special thank you to Waste-Free Dayton for supporting this conversation.
We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation next month as we focus on the trades and their importance in a rapidly changing world.
