The Sevier County office of the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service has launched a new project aimed at improving the water quality of the Lower Little River watershed.
The goals of this project are to:
• increase voluntary water quality protection through outreach, education, and best management practice implementation and demonstration,
• increase stakeholder support and participation in the voluntary watershed management activities,
• and improve the understanding of how water quality and environmental improvements contribute to increased economic, agricultural, and social capital in the watershed.
