Thats a lot of money...

The KYT Americas Legion SBK Endurance Races return this August 8th with payouts for all the top 3 in each class. Plus the $1200 bounty for any team that can beat last years True Endurance team.
Stay the whole weekend and grid up on Sunday with MRA for sprint racing. Registration opens on the 20th.

First track ride went well. Nothing too crazy or fast. Maybe some 210s in traffic smashing in slow group a bit. So, as fast as my r7 race pace on the very first go...

Was smooth. Was clean. BP was pretty on point. Missed 1 or 2 apex in the whole 4 sessions. Struggled a bit to get it to settle in t6.

Babied the front tire a lil too much. Roasted the rear a lil too much. Dam thing is gonna munch rear tyres... 😄 🤣

What was your plan?

To safely and progressively push the feel of bike until i started making mistakes and then slowing down till I could do it right. Holy crow, the physicality of a big bike is something I'd forgotten. Sore in all the places...

Plan executed. Some lite pushing and feeling development. Didn't crash. Track day, much success!!

No riding for me this weekend. I have been invited to help with track operations for both the LegionMOTO and MRA events.

The honor is humbling, if bitter-sweet sometimes. This old guy still just wants to turn laps most days. But we must be who we are, and apply our talents where we can. :)

Its stacking up to be one of the largest ontrack Moto events in recent, and not so recent Colorado history... hope to see you there!!!

First Legion trackday of the year vibes. Had a blast. Didn't suck. Went kinda fast for a few laps. So good to see so many jumping into this sport with both feet here in Colorado!!! New Rider was full to bursting. So grateful to be a small cog in this motorsport machine.
