From Builder Grade to a Custom Finish

This may be a new-build home, but that doesn’t always mean the finish work is perfect.

Our team went in and repaired the failing drywall and imperfections left behind during construction. We then retextured the walls with a small/medium knockdown texture, helping create a more consistent finish while minimizing the appearance of builder imperfections.

Next, we said goodbye to the cheap builder-grade paint.

The walls, ceilings, and trim were upgraded with premium Sherwin-Williams Emerald, giving these homeowners a much more durable, beautiful, and washable finish.

With young children in the home, washability was especially important. Everyday fingerprints, scuffs, and marks can now be cleaned much more easily without worrying about damaging the paint or leaving shiny spots behind.

Another interior painting project completed by Atlantic Finish!
This family recently purchased their new home and called us to help get a few areas refreshed before settling in. We completed a partial interior repaint, including walls, ceilings, trim, and doors in select rooms. We also repaired several drywall areas, matched the existing texture, and properly primed the repairs before painting.

When they’re ready for the next phase, we’ll be back to finish the rest of the home!

We recently completed a full interior and exterior repaint that gave this beautiful home a fresh, flawless finish—while preserving the character the homeowners already loved.

On the exterior, we thoroughly cleaned the surfaces and properly sealed all cracks before applying two full coats of premium Sherwin-Williams Duration® exterior paint. We carefully matched the home’s existing color scheme, primed the exterior doors, and finished them with two durable topcoats. We also gave the porte cochère ceiling a beautiful new blue color that adds the perfect finishing touch!

Inside, our team moved and carefully protected the homeowners’ furniture, valuables, floors, and existing natural-finish trim.
