Every year, the end of August sneaks up on me the same way. 🌅
One day the summer feels endless — backyard dinners that stretch past sunset, everyone piled around the table with nowhere to be — and then suddenly, just like that, it's the last week of it.
Some of my favorite conversations with customers this time of year go something like: "My daughter's heading off to her first apartment. What should I get her for the kitchen?" Or a mom who tells me she just sharpened her knives because the family is coming together for one last summer cookout before school swallows everyone whole.
That's exactly why I love what I do. It's never really about the knives. 💛 It's about the family dinners those knives help you make. It's about the mom who's been using the same set for 30 years because her mom gave them to her when she got married. It's about sending your kid off into the world with something that's actually going to last.
